Storage Area Networks
The Storage Area Networking (SAN) training provides students with knowledge and skills in Storage Area Networks (SAN), associated technologies and protocols used in storage networking. The SAN is an emerging data communications platform that interconnects servers and storage at Gigabit speeds. By combining LAN networking models with the core building blocks of server performance and mass storage capacity, SAN eliminates the bandwidth bottlenecks and scalability limitations imposed by previous Small Computer Systems Interface (SCSI) bus-based architectures. The students develop skills in installing and configuring SAN products and in troubleshooting techniques for resolving problems in existing storage networking implementations.
NIL offers a number of storage area networking learning solutions available as traditional classroom training, virtual classrooms or e-learning as well as hands-on remote labs on the internet to achieve your learning objectives.
