CCVP - Cisco Certified Voice Professional Certification

The CCVP certification validates the ability of an individual to install, configure, operate, and support complex IP telephony / Voice over IP (VoIP) networks and applications. The certification content focuses on Cisco Systems CallManager, quality of service (QoS), gateways, gatekeepers, IP phones, voice applications, and utilities on Cisco routers and Cisco Catalyst switches.

CCVP Prerequisites

Valid CCNA Voice or any CCIE certification.


There are now two paths that can be taken to achieve CCVP certification.
For individuals using Cisco Unified Communications Manager the following path towards certification is recommended:

CCVP Recertification

CCVP certifications are valid for three years.
