|  | New Voice Professional Certification
Cisco announced the new Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) program.
The CCVP certification validates the ability of an individual to install, configure, operate, and support complex IP telephony / Voice over IP (VoIP) networks and applications. The certification content focuses on Cisco Systems CallManager, quality of service (QoS), gateways, gatekeepers, IP phones, voice applications, and utilities on Cisco routers and Cisco Catalyst switches.
CCVP recommended training are: Implementing Cisco QoS (QOS), Cisco Voice Over IP (CVOICE), IP Telephony Troubleshooting (IPTT), Cisco IP Telephony Part 1 (CIPT1) and Cisco IP Telephony Part 2 (CIPT2), Gateway/Gatekeeper (GWGK). The last course will be available in summer 2005.
